The ME 801K1 draws on decades of technical expertise and proven solutions to elegantly solve this problem. Like the legendary RL901K, the ME 801K1 features a 16-inch long-throw woofer. Its signature cardioid low-frequency directivity from 25 to 250 Hz minimizes rear reflections, making placement far less critical. A high-efficiency 6.5-inch midrange cone driver and an array of three 1-inch dome tweeters are coaxially mounted directly in front of the woofer. This layout ensures the necessary directivity for large rooms, minimizing reflections while delivering an irresistible sense of space. Its high sensitivity delivers impressive sound pressure levels and dynamic performance with extremely low distortion. Another undeniable advantage of this coaxial design is its significantly compact form factor. With the amplifier module housed in a separate enclosure, overall dimensions are further reduced. The electronics comprise three PWM amplifiers and an analog crossover equipped with room equalization filters, allowing precise tuning based on the acoustic characteristics and placement of the listening environment. The amplifier delivers 1000 W to the low-frequency channel and 500 W each to the mid and high-frequency channels, ensuring the system's dynamic limits are never a concern.
